A review of The Whitehouse Inn by Stella written on Monday 6th of November 2017
Beautifully restored pub on Oldham Edge with lots of trees and walks surrounding the pub.
Who would have guessed it was only 5 mins walk from the town centre of Oldham (maybe 10 mins as slightly uphill!).
This is a Samuel Smith's pub with cheap beer, excellent ales and good food. The Sunday Roast is most definitely home cooked and it is definitely a good idea to book as they dont have a lot of tables.
New managers who are a lovely couple in their early 40's have done a really good job since they moved in last December (2017) and they seem to have got rid of the undesirables who used to frequent in there.
An excellent pub. I'm sure it will only get busier and busier once people try the food and check out the stunning refurb! Good Luck!.
